Hankook latest commercial tyre range, SmartWork, designed for construction site use, have been selected as original equipment (OE) on the Swedish commercial vehicles manufacturer Scania.
Scania's latest generation of construction vehicles, the Scania XT is one of the models to be fitted with the new Hankook SmartWork tyres, right off the factory floor.
The initial size range for the new SmartWork tyres covers seven sizes in across, 20, 22.5 and 24 inch and is available to order now.
The line up consists of one 100% drive axle tyre, the Hankook Smart Work DM09, one primarily drive-axle, all-position tyre, the Hankook Smart Work AM09, and one mainly steer-axle, all-position tyre, the Hankook Smart Work AM15.
This Original Equipment (OE) partnership with Scania is Hankook’s second within the heavy commercial vehicle segment of the Volkswagen Group; with Hankook having already supplied MAN Truck & Bus since 2015.
