£26,000 - £32,000 OTE + Call-Outs

As a Mobile Truck Tyre Technician, you will be responsible for the fitting and servicing of commercial tyres across a range of fleets and locations, with the primary goal being to prolong the life of every tyre, on every fleet.
As a mobile worker, you will be working on customers sites as well as attending roadside breakdowns both during and outside of standard working hours.
Every Mobile Tyre Technician receives a customised works van and relevant tools, as well as a tablet for the completion of electronic worksheets.
High customer service standards and paperwork accuracy are essential aspects of the role.

We provide a bonus scheme based on individual monthly performance, which for self-motivation individuals, willing to put in the effort can prove to be very lucrative.

We provide both internal and external training for those with little or no experience fitting commercial tyres but has the right attitude and commitment.

You will be expected to;

  • Carry out tyre fitting and related services to the highest industry standards.
  • Be proactive in locating issues with customer’s tyres and determining what work to undertake.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the necessary Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Produce worksheets that are accurate and of good quality.
  • Uphold the highest levels of customer service.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and serviceability of your work van, tools and tablet.

All Candidates MUST have a:

  • Strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to work weekends and occasional nights (while on-call)
  • Full UK Driving License.

The IDEAL Candidate would have:

  • Experience in the fitting of commercial tyres.
  • Experience in the fitting of industrial, agricultural and earthmover tyres.
  • Experience managing the tyres on a large fleet, identifying required work and servicing the tyres accordingly.

Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester in Lincoln

Salary:
Up to £30,000+ OTE

As a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance and repair of all types of light vehicles in a busy independent automotive repair workshop.
As an MOT tester you will be responsible for performing all MOT Tests and associated duties in accordance with the rules and guidelines set by the DVSA to ensure maintenance and/or improvement of the testing stations status.

You will be expected to;

  • Carry out service, maintenance and repair work to the highest industry standards.
  • Perform MOT Tests in accordance with DVSA rules and guidelines.
  • Perform MOT Tests within a reasonable timeframe, compared to national averages.
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical vehicle faults as requested, and where appropriate use scanning equipment.
  • Examine vehicles, recording all findings on the job card.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.

All Candidates MUST have:

  • An NVQ, IMI, C&G Level 3 or equivalent in light vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • A full UK Driving Licence.
  • His / her own set of Tools.
  • A valid and current MOT Smart Card, with tests having been performed in the last 6 months.

The IDEAL Candidate would have:

  • Over 5 years' experience as a qualified MOT Tester.
  • Electrical fault finding, component testing and diagnostic experience.
