Book a Vehicle Service

A vehicle service is essential for preventative maintenance. It renews key fluids and filters and checks the condition of various vehicle components and systems, ensuring the continued health of the vehicle.

We've made it convenient for you with three standard service levels to choose from. To maintain your vehicle in optimum health, you should have a Silver Service or Gold Service every 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever is sooner. However, high-mileage vehicles may also benefit from a Bronze Service in between, at around 6 months or 6,000 miles.

Car servicing is different from the MOT test. An MOT test is a legal requirement once your vehicle is over three years old and is an annual inspection designed to ensure your vehicle meets minimum levels of safety and roadworthiness.
An MOT test is no guarantee of your vehicle's general health or mechanical condition and, as such, is not an alternative to an annual vehicle service.

You can, however, book a combined service and MOT at Dexel Tyre & Auto Centre now.

Unlike the MOT test, an annual vehicle service is not a legal requirement. However, neglecting to have your car serviced means the health of your vehicle will go unchecked and key components unreplaced, putting you at risk of unexpected and avoidable repair bills. It could also bolster the resale value of your vehicle if it is sold with a service history.

How often do I need my car serviced?

As a general rule, you should have your car serviced every 12 months, or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first. Here at Dexel Tyre & Auto Centre, however, we realise that each vehicle has different requirements, which is why we offer a range of car servicing options.

Vehicle Manufacturer Service

Dexel Tyre & Auto Centre also offer a service which will maintain your manufacturer's warranty without the cost associated with visiting your main dealer. During this service, our highly trained specialists will use only manufacturer approved parts and comply with your warranty and follow the service steps set out by each specific vehicle manufacturer.
