Modern vehicles are fitted with hundreds of sensors monitored by numerous electronic control units (ECUs) for each of the vehicle's electronic systems, such as engine management, anti-lock braking systems (ABS) and Electronic Stability Control (ESC), to name a few.
Sensors monitored by ECUs can report routine information such as low fluid, in the case of ad-blue, for example. However, they can also report an abnormal reading, which may prompt the ECU to generate an error code, known as a Diagnostic Trouble Code (TDC), and cause a dashboard warning light to illuminate.
Using the latest generation OBD-II diagnostic equipment, our highly trained technicians can retrieve Diagnostic Trouble Codes stored in the vehicle's ECUs to begin troubleshooting system faults. After the diagnostic check, our technicians will explain their findings and recommend repairs or further investigation as necessary.
