As a Tyre Fitter / Fast-Fit Technician, you will be responsible for the fitting of tyres, TPMS equipment and fast-fit mechanical components for all types of light vehicles in a busy independent automotive repair workshop.

You will be expected to;

  • Carry out work to the highest industry standards.
  • Examine vehicles, recording all findings on the job card.
  • Help in the maintenance of a clean and organised work space.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.

All Candidates MUST have:

  • 3 or more years relevant experience in equivalent roles.
  • Expertise in fast and efficient tyre fitting and wheel alignment, while maintaining work quality and care over customers property.
  • A full UK Driving Licence.

The IDEAL Candidate would have:

  • Experience and proficiency in the fitting and repair of brakes and steering/suspension components.
  • His / her own a set of basic tools suitable for the work being performed.

As a Mobile Tyre Technician, you will be responsible for the fitting and servicing of commercial tyres across a range of fleets and locations, with the primary goal being to prolong the life of every tyre, on every fleet.
As a mobile worker, you will be working on customers sites as well as attending roadside breakdowns both during and outside of standard working hours.
Every Mobile Tyre Technician receives a customised works van and relevant tools, as well as a tablet for the completion of electronic worksheets.
High customer service standards and paperwork accuracy are essential aspects of the role.

We provide a bonus scheme based on individual monthly performance, which for self-motivation individuals, willing to put in the effort can prove to be very lucrative.

We provide both internal and external training for those with little or no experience fitting commercial tyres but has the right attitude and commitment.

You will be expected to;

  • Carry out tyre fitting and related services to the highest industry standards.
  • Be proactive in locating issues with customer’s tyres and determining what work to undertake.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the necessary Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Produce worksheets that are accurate and of good quality.
  • Uphold the highest levels of customer service.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and serviceability of your work van, tools and tablet.

All Candidates MUST have a:

  • Strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to work weekends and occasional nights (while on-call)
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

The IDEAL Candidate would have:

  • Experience in the fitting of commercial tyres.

As a Workshop Foreman, you will often provide support to the management team, especially when the Branch Assistant Manager assumes control of the branch to cover the Branch Managers annual leave, training days and absences. This experience makes the Technical Workshop Foreman role an excellent stepping stone for further careers progression into a Management position in the future.
Beyond your technical capabilities, a positive attitude, the ability to thrive under pressure and lead others effectively are all key to this role.

As a Master Technician, you will be the principal technical expert within the branch.
As well as independently working to perform service, maintenance and repair work, as well as MOT Tests on all types of light vehicles in a busy independent automotive repair workshop; you will also have a crucial role in providing support and guidance for your co-worker and customers.
You will be responsible for mentoring and developing current and upcoming junior technicians in the branch, quality checking their work as required to ensure the upkeep of working standards.
You will also support the branch management team with your technical expertise, liaising directly with customers as necessary to ensure they have a full understanding of any technical issues.
As such, beyond your technical expertise; verbal communications skills and a friendly and approachable attitude are key to this role.

You will be expected to;

  • Carry out service, maintenance and repair work to the highest industry standards.
  • Perform MOT Tests in accordance with DVSA rules and guidelines.
